1. Personal Information

Personal information is only collected on melspublications.com for the following specific purposes:


•	a name and a billing/shipping address so we can send your purchase statement and purchase to the address of your choice.
•	an e-mail address is required for communicating with you, questions and comments about your order.
•	a phone number as a means of contacting you in case your e-mail address is misspelled in the registration information.

We respect your privacy and only request information necessary for providing good Customer Service. If we are missing any registration information, we cannot serve you as efficiently as preferred. Your information is stored in a protected database that only our company can access.

2. Privacy Policy

Our commitment to you:


•	we never share your profile information with, or sell it to other companies or organizations.
•	we do not collect any information from you without your knowledge.

3. Security

Our commitment to you:


•	all credit card transactions are securely encrypted
•	we do not store you credit card information as it is only used to complete the bank transaction - once completed the information is removed
•	when you place an order, the bank will authorize the total amount to be charged on your credit card. Any adjustments on the price of your order will be made at this time. The final cost of your purchase will never exceed the amount initially authorized by you and your bank.

4. Our Returns & Cancellation Policy

Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return any item in its original condition. We will refund your money for the amount of the purchase price less actual shipping and handling charges. We reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee on any returns. Items that are returned damaged such as having bent corners, smudges, scratches or tears may result in the item being pro-rated.

Please note that we can only process returns and refunds for items purchased from the MELS website - melspublications.com.

4.1 Cancelling Orders

You may cancel unshipped items by sending us your invoice number via email.
Please note that we generally ship orders within 48 hours or less so you must cancel before your order is shipped. An order cancellation that is made after the item has been shipped will be treated as a return. We will refund your money for the amount of the purchase price less actual shipping and handling charges once the item has been returned to us in original condition.

4.2 How to return items
Simply indicate the reason for your return, include your invoice number, and wrap the item so that it will not get damaged in transit. Ship the item to the following address:

4.3 Refunds
We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. Please note that we can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.
